Built in 1850, 56 Main Street underwent a high end gut renovation thereby preserving the structure’s historic elements and keeping the building envelope fully intact for generations to enjoy. Located across from the iconic God’s Acre, we used the highest quality windows, doors and siding in keeping with the aesthetic of the original facade. It offers 1931 square feet of living space spread over 3 bedrooms, 2+ bathrooms and a bonus space.

This project constitutes not only an extensive renovation but more importantly the preservation of a historic New Canaan structure which is documented in the nearby New Canaan Museum.
